The NIOA - September 2017 Edition

Greetings to friends of the NIOA!

Items of interest: 

1. Congratulations to Marcy Coe of Waterloo WPC, who was awarded with the NIOA's Doug Brookhart Memorial Award. The Doug Brookhart award provides registration, room & board and per diem for the IWEA Annual Conference in Indianapolis. We also want to thank Jones & Henry Engineers for their generous donation to the scholarship fund. 
2. Our September NIOA Meeting will be held at AIRVAC's Corporate Headquarters in Rochester, Indiana. Please plan on arriving by 10:15 AM; training will begin at 10:30. Mark Jones & Jon Hartsock of AirVac will provide training and a tour of the AirVac manufacturing facility. AirVac will be providing lunch. After, lunch, we will travel to the Rochester WWTP and tour the treatment plant. If you plan on attending, PLEASE RSVP by noon, Monday, September 11. 
3. Our October NIOA meeting will be held at Element Lab's newly renovated facility in Ft. Wayne on October 11. Details to follow. 
4. Annual elections will be held at the October meeting. We are looking for nominations for Secretary/treasurer and for NIOA's representative to the IWEA. If you have any nominations for either of these positions, please contact Mike, Bill or Craig by October 11.
