The NIOA - October Newsletter

Good evening, friends of the NIOA. 

1. A reminder that the October meeting will be held at the Goshen WWTP (1000 W Wilden Ave, Goshen 46528) on Wednesday, October 12. Dan Miller with Pelton Environmental will be providing a product demonstration from 10:30 - 11:30am, lunch will be provided from 11:30 - 12:30, then we will tour the Goshen WWTP and the adjacent wet weather treatment facility. We will apply for 2.5 technical CEU's for wastewater and 2.5 general CEU's for water. Please RSVP as soon as possible!
2. We are still looking for a facility to host the November meeting. Please contact Bill Etzler if your facility is willing to host. 
3. Reminder that at the October meeting, we need to vote for a new board member. If you are interested in serving, please let Bill Etzler, Mike Franke or Craig Williams know before next Wednesday. In the event that there are no nominations, we will ask for the membership to vote to keep the current board in place. 
4. If your utility (or community) is hiring, please consider posting the job on the NIOA webpage. We do not charge a fee to post job openings, as a service to our members. If you're looking for a job or know someone who is, please visit the NIOA website! Two part time jobs were just listed!
