NIOA Training & Events

May Training: Come join us on May 8 at the Bremen WWTP - South Plant, 530 S. Alexander St.  Bremen, IN 46506, for a tour of the facility, followed by a lunch and learn. Registration begins at 10a, tour of the WWTP begins at 10:30, Lunch & Learn will follow the WWTP tour. Brian Wellman, Jones & Henry Engineers, will present on modeling collection and distribution systems. Please RSVP no later than 4p Monday, May 6 so we can get an accurate head count for lunch. 

June Training: June 12 - Tentatively Knox WWTP with Peter Schamel presenting. 

July Training: Jul 10 - Annual cookout, Chain O'Lakes State Park with Ethan Noble of H-TEC presenting.

Additional Training Opportunities

 IWEA Wastewater Challenge - May 14. Earn 7 Technical CEU's while enjoying a day at the Aqua Indiana Western Hancock County Utilities facility. The Wastewater Challenge is a day of hands-on events designed to test and stretch your how-to knowledge of wastewater. It takes a team to rise to the challenges created by the Laboratory, Operations & Maintenance, Residuals & Resource Recovery, Collection Systems, Pretreatment, and Safety committees. Competitive Teams rely on their wits, experience, and diverse members for the high score that will take them to WEFTEC to represent Indiana. Registration closes SOON!
